Bargain Buy: Old Navy Lace Camisoles

I hit the jackpot today.  Lace Camisoles at Old Navy, and they are only $8 each!  I now have four new camis to add to my wardrobe, and I can mark several clients off of my camisole shopping list!  See below:

Finding the  perfect camisole is a constant work-in-progress when shopping for my clients.  The difficult thing about camisoles is that they wear out very easily because you must wash them often (they are touching your body after-all!).  This creates a continual shopping situation.  I suggest always keeping your eyes peeled for camis that can easily fit into your wardrobe.  The wonderful thing about camisoles is that they can add so much value to your current wardrobe.  Just by incorporating the perfect cami to an outfit, you can add an additional color, provide more coverage, and/or achieve that oh-so-desired "layered" look.  Here are my have-to’s when hunting the ideal cami:

1. Purchase camisoles with detail (example: lace trim) or a little sheen so that they can pass for a layering piece or top, instead of simply an undergarment.

2. The perfect camisole is fitted throughout without clinging to your least favorite body parts!  This provides for the ideal layering situation: not too clingy, not too bulky.

3. Select camisoles that have adjustable straps so that you can control exactly how much coverage you want.  Camis without adjustable straps oftentimes are too low and reveal more cleavage than you would like, or are too high and interfere with your necklaces.

3.  Look for camisoles that come in an assortment of colors.  On many occasions, I have located camisoles that feel and fit great, to find that they only come in the colors that I don’t need!  Shop for your camisoles with a list of must-have colors so that you never make a poorly planned purchase.

Now that you know exactly what to look for in a camisole, it’s time to hit the stores.  Those camis aren’t going to buy themselves!  Happy hunting!
